These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MemoryLane's photo digitization and restoration services. By requesting a quote or submitting photos to us, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

MemoryLane scans, digitizes, and (where selected) restores physical and digital photographs. Available scan tiers, restoration options, and indicative pricing are described on our Pricing page and confirmed in your individual quote.

Quotes and pricing

Submitting the quote form does not create a binding order. We will review your request and follow up with a confirmed quote. No work begins and no payment is due until you accept that quote.

Submitting your photos

• You confirm that you own or have the right to submit the photos you send us for digitization or restoration.
• You are responsible for describing any existing damage, fading, or fragility so we can handle your photos appropriately.
• We handle all submitted photos with care, but original prints (especially aged or already-damaged ones) can be fragile — we are not liable for pre-existing damage or deterioration that predates our handling.

Restoration and AI-assisted edits

Where you request repair, colorization, or other AI-assisted restoration, our guiding principle is to restore the photograph, not reinterpret it — preserving the identity, expression, pose, and composition of the people and scenes in your photo. You may review results and request adjustments within the scope of your order.

Turnaround and delivery

Estimated turnaround times are communicated with your quote and may vary based on collection size and selected services. Digital files are delivered using the method you select (e.g. Google Drive, USB) at intake.

Payment

Payment terms (amount, timing, and accepted methods) are confirmed with your quote. We reserve the right to hold delivery of digital files or return of originals pending full payment, except where otherwise agreed.

Cancellations

You may cancel an accepted order before work begins for a full refund of any amount paid. Once scanning or restoration work has started, we will discuss a fair partial refund reflecting work already completed.

Ownership of your photos and files

You retain full ownership of your original photographs and the digital files we create from them. We do not use your photos for promotional purposes without your separate, explicit permission.

Limitation of liability

While we take great care with every order, MemoryLane's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
