Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 15, 2026
MemoryLane ("we", "us", "our") provides photo digitization and restoration services in the Philippines. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us — full name, mobile number, and email address — when you request a quote.
- Collection details — estimated photo count, city/province, and any notes you share about your photos.
- Your physical and digital photographs, submitted for scanning, digitization, or restoration.
- Basic technical and usage data (e.g. pages viewed, device/browser type) collected automatically through analytics tools.
How we use your information
- To prepare and send you an accurate quote.
- To coordinate drop-off, courier, scanning, restoration, and delivery of your order.
- To contact you about the status of your request.
- To improve our website and services.
How we handle your photographs
Your photos are used solely to fulfill your order. Where you request AI-assisted restoration (e.g. repairing damage, colorizing), the relevant image is processed through a third-party AI image service under a processing agreement that does not permit that provider to use your photo to train its own models. Digital copies of your photos are retained only as long as needed to complete and support your order, plus a reasonable backup period, after which they are deleted from our active systems.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate MemoryLane — our content, database, storage, and AI-restoration processors — each under obligations to protect your data, and only to the extent needed to provide the service.
Cookies and analytics
We may use standard analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar) to understand how visitors use our site. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the Philippines' Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing, subject to our legitimate business and legal needs (e.g. completing an order already in progress). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including restricted staff access and encrypted storage for your submitted photos and personal details. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
